Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator                

Reports to:  Inventory Control Supervisor

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):

  1. Compiles Limbo load research and conducts physical searches for Limbo pallets.
  2. Compiles PO research and conducts physical searches as requested by Customer procurement.
  3. Performs physical counts of forward pick and reserve locations.
  4. Processes Customer Store Returns using WMS.
  5. Compiles and reviews Activity History reports for count adjustments and verifies accuracy by completing physical counts of the locations.
  6. Daily verification of code dates and updates physical inventory.
  7. Performs special counts, verify code dating and package size reviews for Customer procurement, as requested.
  8. Reviews and investigates information from Store Shortages of product shortages reported by Customer stores.
  9. Performs daily Seafood and Chicken counts and rotation checks and processes appropriate corrections.
  10. Assists in the investigation of slot location and replenishment issues.
  11. Assists in the development and implementation of (approved) special projects and tasks.
  12. Performs Active Zero/Inactive/Unassigned locations checks to ensure proper inventory.
  13. Completes additional rotation tasks, counts and reports as directed by Inventory Control Supervisor.
  14. Creates blind loads for product found and left at Inventory offices to ensure proper inventory.
  15. Actively participates in Health and Safety initiatives including but not limited to correcting substandard acts and or conditions, attending in health and safety training, complying with all Health and Safety process and procedures.
  16. Performs any and all special requests, tasks and processes as directed by Inventory Control Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:

  • Previous inventory control experience.
  • Considerable knowledge of the WMS system as applied to Inventory Control operations.
  • Working skill in operation of handheld unit.
  • Computer experience including Excel and compiling reports.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus.
  • Working skill in verbal and written communication, Microsoft Outlook experience
  • Knowledge of use of pallet jack or ability to be trained.
  • Detail orientated
  • Proven ability to show initiative to learn and develop new skills
